Once upon a time, there was this little girl named Mona who lives by the dark woods.
A freezing night when the moon was just covered by the thick clouds which indicated the rainstorm at nose, Mona, together with her little brother, Frank, went on a mysterious adventure across the forest.

奥尔镇深夜的一家小酒馆，雪地上歪斜着几行深浅不一的脚印。

灰褐色的雪橇挨着墙边，雪橇犬们喘着气，大团大团的水雾。橘黄色的灯光里忽闪着两三个人影，樱桃热啤的香气阵阵渗出门缝。碰杯的叮当声轻轻传来，其间仿佛有一人开口说话：“天气好久都是这样，依我看……嘿！别动那个——在这儿呢……帽子，我的帽子……可不是嘛，再来点儿——你呢，你什么时候往那去……老兄，今天可是太晚了……我这里有一个故事，你愿意听听吗？”
